Katie Wilson, KatieW@HoustonSwatVolleyball.com
The founder and Director of Houston S.W.A.T Volleyball Club, brings
years of playing and coaching experience to the leadership roles at
HSV. As a player, Katie’s volleyball career includes being a 3 year
letterman and team captain at Mayde Creek High School, being
named to the 1st Team All-District, and receiving an academic and
athletic scholarship to play at Southern University at Baton Rouge. In
addition to playing volleyball at the collegiate level, on a Conference
Championship team, Katie brings a winning attitude and experience
as a club coach at local, state, and national levels. With 13 yrs club
coaching know-how, she also has experience at the Jr High, JV and
Varsity school levels, at Emery/Weiner and Pope John XXIII where
she is currently the Head Volleyball Coach. Katie has also
participated in and conducted her own volleyball skills camps.

Michelle Kubosh, MichelleK@HoustonSwatVolleyball.com,
will use her knowledge as a player and coach to assist HSV’s
coaching staff. As a player, Michelle’s volleyball experience includes
4 years high school in Southern California at Central Union High
School, where she was named 2nd team All-District, and received
The Best Blocker award, and 2 years club ball in Southern California
for Imperial Valley Heat. She continued her competitive volleyball
career while attending college in Texas. In addition to playing
volleyball at the collegiate level, Michelle has also continued to play
in tournaments around the Houston area recreationally.
She has experience coaching at the junior college level as well as 3
years with KVA. She has assisted Wharton High School’s volleyball
program as a volunteer and held the position of JV Volleyball Coach
at Pope John XXIII.
